The wearing of the school uniform is compulsory at St Martin's. It gives children a sense of pride and identification with St Martin's community. A serious responsibility lies with parents to ensure that children wear the correct uniform.

GIRLS :

Summer -

• green check St Martin's uniform.(mid calf length) with belt made in St Martin's Fabric.
  
  
• plain short white socks (no lace or frills)
  
  
• black leather school shoes (no patent leather)
  or black or brown sandals (without socks)
  
  
• green cloth hat, green cap or green legionnaires hat(all with St Martin's emblem on front)
  
  
• ribbons/scrunchies should be black, or same material as the school uniform
  

Winter -

• bottle green zippered cardigan or jumper or St Martin's zippered cardigan or v-neck jumper over summer uniform. (Track suit pants should not be worn under day uniform).
  
  
• black tights only are optional.
  

Sports -

• St Martin's black skirt or shorts (with St Martin's printed on left hand side)
  
  
• white sport shirt with collar and crest or Sports shirt with St Martin's screenprinted down left hand side.
  
  
• short plain white socks(no frills or lace)
  
  
• black or white joggers or sport shoes
  
  
• black sports briefs(under skirt). Bicycle pants are not permitted
  
  
• St Martin's tracksuit or bottle green fleecy tracksuit may be worn in winter. Full sports uniform (i.e. shorts or skirt and polo shirt) must be worn under tracksuit.
  

BOYS :

Summer -

• grey shirt with 1cm black and white stripe on pocket and sleeve (black stripe above white)
  
  
• black school shorts (Midford, King Gee or Ruggers).
  
  
• short grey socks with 1cm black and white hoop (black above white)
  
  
• black lace-up leather school shoes or black joggers) or black or brown sandals (without socks)

Winter -

• bottle green zippered cardigan, jumper or fleecy tracksuit or St. Martin's Tracksuit (full day uniform must always be worn under tracksuit)
  

Sports -

• sports shirt with St Martin's screenprinted down left hand side or
  
  
• white shirt with collar and crest
  
  
• St Martin's sports shorts (with St Martin's printed down the left hand side) or day uniform shorts
  
  
• white socks
  
  
• black or white joggers or sportshoes
  
  
• St Martin's tracksuit or bottle green fleecy tracksuit may be worn in winter. Full sports uniform (i.e. shorts and polo shirt must be worn under tracksuit).

Notes on uniform

1. Black shoes/joggers: high top basketball shoes, bright trim or laces are not permitted.
   
   
2. A small metal school badge is available but not compulsory. If worn, it is to be worn on the left hand collar on shirt or polo shirt or at the top of the black tie on the girls dress.
   
   
3. Hair should be kept tidy with long hair tied back with black or school fabric accessories only.
   
   
4. No jewellery may be worn
   
   
5. Pierced ears must have ONLY ONE SMALL SLEEPER OR STUD IN EACH EAR LOBE.
